Featured Project

The Livestock Value Chain in Karamoja

Production Africa was commissioned to make this half-hour documentary on the issues facing pastoralists in Northern Uganda and Northern Kenya by the Overseas Development Institute in London. Prior to the shoot, this project involved significant research and logistics coordination, including arrangements such as transportation, film permits and security crews. On the ground, Arjun produced and directed the project while capturing still images, leading a four-person team including a cameraman and drone operator, a soundman and a transcriber. Arjun also served as a second cameraman when the shoot required multiple angles. While on location, the crew made use of evenings to transcribe and translate interviews and catalogue all images and footage shot. This allowed Arjun to edit the half-hour documentary within 10 days of wrapping the shoot, including subtitles, graphics and soundtrack, and to submit it in several optimised formats.
A Westgate Memorial

Our Nairobi

In the aftermath of the terror attack on the Westgate Mall in 2013 Arjun responded as a visual artist by creating a multi-media anniversary exhibition, which was intended both to heal and inform.

Find more information about the exhibition and a Memorial program Arjun produced for the first anniversary of the attack here.
